The Crestron Go App (CRESTRON-GO-ANDROID) turns an Android™ OS device into a mobile Crestron touch screen, enabling complete control of AV systems, lighting, shades, climate control, security, and other systems from virtually anywhere. The Crestron Go App can be programmed with Smart Graphics® technology, making it easy to deliver a custom user experience that is both dynamic and intuitive. Additional capabilities include viewing video from IP-based security cameras and seamless integration with third-party apps.
The Crestron Go App is available for download through the Google Play™ application. The Crestron Go App is compatible with 3-Series®, 4-Series®, and Crestron Virtual Control software control systems.
Global Connectivity
The Crestron Go App supports Wi-Fi® and mobile broadband network connectivity to ensure constant access to your home or office Crestron system. No extra charges or special servers are required: The Crestron Go App communicates directly over the data network with your Crestron control system for a seamless mobile control experience. Transport Layer Security (TLS) provides a secure data connection for remote access.
Smart Graphics Technology
Smart Graphics enables programmers to integrate fluid gesture-driven controls, animated feedback, and rich metadata into the Crestron Go App mobile user interface. Smart Graphics provides dynamic features such as graphical buttons and sliders, lists and toolbars, drag-and-drop objects, dashboard widgets, screensavers, and customizable themes for a unique control experience. Smart Graphics projects created for the Crestron Go App can be sent to Crestron touch screens and other Android devices for a consistent look and feel without requiring any modification.
Streaming Video
View live motion video directly from the Crestron Go App. Video can be displayed in a window within the Crestron Go App, allowing video to be viewed while performing other functions within the app. Native support for the H.264 and MJPEG formats allows for the display of live video images from IP cameras and streaming encoders such as the DM-TXRX-100-STR HD streaming transmitter.
