Winchester’s KINGS® brand SC series RF connectors are a medium-size, threaded coupling version of the C connector. They basically handle coaxial cables from .350inch to .450inch OD. However, designs accommodate .078inch to .875inch cables. Frequency range is 0 to 11GHz. The SC connector is a 50 Ohm nominal impedance connector using an overlapping dielectric interface and is weatherproof. SC connectors are used in severe environments and are popular in aircraft and high vibration applications. They are covered under MIL-PRF-39012.
